This fall at the Aquarium of the Pacific’s Aquatic Academy join expert speakers and explore the big ideas that face our society and how our beliefs are shaped.
On many major issues facing us today—climate change, vaccinations, and more—the science is settled, yet people adopt ideas that stand in opposition to the facts. In this evening course at the Aquarium, join experts to examine the psychology of instances when science is not enough to convince everyone.
Participants in this two-part course will hear from experts and have the opportunity to ask questions. Speakers and topics will be added soon.

Aquatic Academy
The Aquarium fosters lifelong learning and dialogue on issues related to the ocean and environment through its Aquatic Academy. This program offers short courses for adults that bring together experts in science, business, conservation, policy, and education to share their knowledge and experiences with attendees.
